Digital Resource Coordinator

International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance expert-level response to the refugee crisis

Digital Resource Coordinator (part-time, 1 day per week)

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) seeks to fill the position of Digital Resource Coordinator.

It was agreed at the IHRA Plenary in November 2015 that current events relating to refugees – and the popular discourse surrounding it – warrant a response from international experts in Holocaust education, research and remembrance. The decision was taken to develop a blog platform which will serve as a resource centre for educators and as a platform for IHRA delegates and guest bloggers to reflect on the topic of refugees, among other issues.

The focus of the blog is on refugees and on existing educational materials which refer to the treatment of refugees during and after the Holocaust. The blog will form a resource bank which can help support education about and amidst the current refugee crisis. The target group of the blog is Educators (Education Multipliers, Trainers, and curriculum and standards developers) and civil servants in Ministries of Education in IHRA Member and Observer Countries.
