Stavanger municipality will mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the Jewish War Memorial at Eiganes cemetary. Deputy mayor Dagny Sunnanå Hausken will give a speech, a wreath will be laid and music will be played. 22 Jews were deported from Stavanger. Only two of them survived. The youngest victim, Sam Becker, was two years old when he was killed in Auschwitz 3 March 1943. The names of all the deported Jews are engraved at the memorial.
