Virtual opening of the exhibition "Shared History - 1700 years of Jewish life in the German-speaking world" in the German Bundestag

Online

On the occasion of the commemoration of 27 January 2021, we will again be able to present an accompanying exhibition at the Paul-Löbe-Haus this year.

"Shared History - 1700 Years of Jewish Life in the German-Speaking World" is the title of the exhibition developed by the Leo Baeck Institute New York and Berlin and shown on behalf of the German Bundestag.

Due to pandemic-related contact restrictions, the opening of the exhibition can unfortunately not take place as usual with a joint event, but only in virtual form.

A summary opening video with insights into the exhibition and excerpts of the greetings of the President of the Leo Baeck Institute, David G. Marwell, and the President of the Central Council of Jews, Dr. Josef Schuster, as well as my opening speech can be found here: www.bundestag.de/sharedhistoryvideo

On the website www.bundestag.de/sharedhistory you can access the speeches in full length as video recordings. There you will also find the flyer and further information about the exhibition.
