This year's commemoration event of the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH) is dedicated to the question of whether the Holocaust is and can be a topic for primary school; and how to deal with it when children ask questions about the Holocaust.
Students from the Primary School Department are responsible for central elements of the commemoration event. They present their reflections on the above-mentioned questions, which they have worked out in lectures, and have a conversation with a contemporary witness who fled to Switzerland as a child.
The event is open to the public.
