The annual Alfred Landecker Memorial Lecture is held each year on 27 January to coincide with the United Nations Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is an integral part of the Alfred Landecker Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, the University of Oxford which investigates the right and interests of minorities and vulnerable groups, exploring, in particular, the values and institutions that underpin democratic society.
The lecture will be followed by a short panel discussion featuring Blavatnik School faculty: Jonathan Wolff, Alfred Landecker Professor of Values and Public Policy, Dapo Akande, Professor of Public International Law, and Marietta Van Der Tol, Alfred Landecker Postdoctoral Fellow, and chaired by Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government.
The event, marking the United Nations Holocaust Remembrance Day, will be held digitally due to the pandemic and, for more details, please see the official invitation from the Blavatnik School of Government.
The event will start at 6.30 pm CET.
