The objective of the project was to increase awareness of the critical participation of medical professionals during the Holocaust and develop strategies to avoid their involvement in future genocides. The Center for Medicine after the Holocaust sees a need to spread knowledge about this subject since very few professional schools at medical centers offer courses on medicine after the Holocaust.

The project included a workshop for international scholars and a trip for medical professionals to Austria and Poland to visits sites relevant to medicine and the Holocaust. Moreover, an exhibit for the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Hungary was developed and displayed by the partner institutions, and a distance learning course aimed at MDs and PhDs was created, along with an upgrade of the CMATH website.
