On 29 November, the USC Shoah Foundation is participating in Giving Tuesday with its campaign #Beginswithme. Giving Tuesday, a worldwide day of philanthropy, is observed the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

The USC Shoah Foundation is encouraging people to use the hashtag #BeginsWithMe to show their support on social media. You will be able to download a #BeginsWithMe campaign card by going to the dedicated microsite on the USC Shoah Foundation website. Fill out the card with your name and how testimony inspires you to make a difference; take a photo of yourself holding the card and share on your social media channels, encouraging friends and family to do the same.

Watching testimony or registering for IWitness is also a great way to commemorate Giving Tuesday. The Giving Tuesday microsite will include several testimony clips on courage, action and the importance of standing up for tolerance that can be shared on social media. You can also subscribe to USC Shoah Foundation’s YouTube channel, view over 1,800 full testimonies on the Visual History Archive Online, or visit any of the 67 Visual History Archive access sites at museums and universities around the world. You also have the option to cinsider donating through the #Beginswithme website.

Stephen Smith, Executive Director of the USC Shoah Foundation, and Kim Simon, Managing Director of the USC Shoah Foundation, are both members of the Delegation of the United States to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
