Antisemitism Training Seminar in Romania

From 14 to 16 May 2018, the Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania is organized the second edition of the training course called Holocaust Denial and Antisemitism, vulnerabilities of contemporary society, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The program is part of a framework agreement concluded between the Institute, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum which foresees the yearly training of police officers on antisemitism, Holocaust denial and the history of the Holocaust in Romania. The training session is hosted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Schengen training center in Ploiesti and the trainers are provided by the Elie Wiesel Institute and its partners.

Romania chaired the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance in 2016.
