Project highlights: Strengthening remembrance

Grant projects we fund, as well as internal projects led by our experts, help us strengthen remembrance around the world.

IWalk local histories

This IHRA Grant developes multimedia on-site activities including historical walks, to support Holocaust memorial days at key sites of remembrance.

The IHRA’s Museums and Memorials Working Group

Memorial museums protect the dignity of the victims. They inspire critical, independent thinking about the past. The IHRA’s Museums and Memorials Working Group (MMWG) provides a forum for memorial and museum professionals to share best practices in the field of Holocaust remembrance, museology, and museum pedagogy. Our experts also support museums to inspire appropriate forms of remembrance.
